Description
The Merlin Refrigerant Detector X is an NDIR detector, commonly used as a standalone unit or integrated with a Merlin controller. The target refrigerant gases are heavier than air, meaning they will settle, so the sensor should be installed 12 inches from the floor in the protected area. Upon detection, the unit will trigger an alarm at 1000ppm. When connected to a Merlin controller, the built-in alarm relay outputs can activate a remote audible alarm and control ventilation fans. Once the leak is addressed, the sensor head will clear, and the Merlin panel and detector can be reset.
